The Cigarette Duet by Princess Chelsea
Okay, so I was going to post "Everybody's Girl" by the Dwarves, but could not find am appropriate video. Then I was going to do "My Girlfriend's Dead" by The Vandals, but the music video takes to much away from the song.
"Eat the Meek" by NoFx was another choice, but I could not decide if I wanted the awesome Dub mix or the original...
Then I found this...
Awesomeness....
Please excuse me while I stalk my new princess.

I Have Your Heart
Okay, So 3 not so well known heroes in the art world came together to make this video.
Jim Batt a film maker and photographer, Molly Crabapple an artist and Kim Boekbinder a musician collaborated to make this absolute gem.
For a little more Jim Batt take a look at "Want it Back" it also has a heart theme that follows this video nicely.
And to round off, here is some Crabapple.

Animal by Karen O and the Kids
Karen O is the vocalist for Yeah Yeah Yeahs, a pretty sweet Indie band from New York.
She did the sound track for the movie Where the Wild Things Are, based on the book by Maurice Senda (based on his scary aunts and uncles if I an not mistaken).
The movie looked good, the sound track was epic.
I love the energy of this track. All the shouts and hoots, makes me want to spin around the room as if I was on fire.
The lyrics are simple. "Hold me animal." repeated a few times.

Crucify Your Mind by Rodriguez
Being South African, I grew up with the Cold Fact in my home. And as I got older and a little bit more anti-establishment, listening to the two great Bobs, Tracey Chapman, Hendrix and such, That album with the Mexican on the cover was a favorite.
I knew he had not seen "success" in the States, but I assumed he was still well known as an artist and just toured the States. Turn out I was way Wrong.
Check out the Documentary Searching for Sugarman. It has been Nominated for an Oscar and a BAFTA, so you know it is good.
Rodriguez is playing in South Africa in June, But Tickets sold out in December already.
